            FARMINGVILLE AND A CLASS APART

The shocking hate-based  attempted murders of two Mexican day laborers catapult the Long Island town of Farmingville into national headlines, unmasking a new front line in the border wars: suburbia.

Brings to life the heroic struggle of Mexican Americans from Texas fighting to dismantle the discrimination targeted against them. Built around the landmark 1954 legal case Hernandez v. Texas, the film interweaves the stories of its central characters with a broader story of a civil rights movement that is still very much alive today.
